Most final exams will continue as scheduled. However, Monday exams may be rescheduled for Friday at the discretion of the instructor. Faculty should work with students to communicate any updates to due dates or exam times.

AACC has been made aware of a nationwide security incident involving Canvas, the college’s learning management system.
This appears to be a broader national incident involving Instructure, the parent company of Canvas, with potential impact across multiple institutions.
At this time, AACC has not been notified of any direct impact to our college community. Canvas remains available and operational for faculty, staff, and students.
IIT is actively monitoring updates from Instructure, reviewing any potential impact to college services or student data, and coordinating with appropriate internal partners. We will continue to assess the situation and provide additional updates when new information becomes available.

Academic Deadlines and Classes
We understand this comes at a critical time in the semester. AACC is pausing all deadlines connected to Canvas until further notice. This includes assignments, projects, grades, exams and other end-of-semester work completed in Canvas.
In-person classes and activities should continue to meet as scheduled unless otherwise communicated.
AACC is working to develop and share a clear plan for the end of the spring semester. We appreciate your patience as this situation continues to unfold.
